My starting point is a Perpetual "Pro" license. The screen then shows me my current license details and the upgrade options available (with and without a "deal" for styles) for both Perpetual and Subscription options. To check the most recent comments about "No Upgrade Product Found" I have just logged in to my C1 Account from the main site landing page, selected the "Support" options and then the "Software Management" option. Oh well, I might upgrade someday, but it's not going to be today. I entered my key and pressed "Validate" only to get the error "No Upgrade Product Found". So why can't they just say that on the web page and remove any doubt or simply post the upgrade prices from one version to another? The reply included a link that directed me to the same web page to validate my key but this time at least I had one line of text that loosely confirmed that prices and options would be available after key validation. ![]() Yesterday I also submitted a support ticket and received a response today. So it's strange to me why you can't get this information until after you make the purchase and have a license key. The same rules apply here in Canada where nothing happens until you click on a button named "BUY NOW" but after reading about licensing and activation problems clients are experiencing, I'm just being cautious as I don't want any problems after validating my key.īut, If you were a potential client and were interested in purchasing the perpetual version of Capture One, it would be nice to know how much upgrades would cost before you purchase the software. The key validation procedure has the appearance that you are proceeding with the upgrade since there isn't any information on the page to let you know that initially you will be presented with a page of prices and options prior to agreeing to upgrade.
